G-Unit Drops Free Mixtape, Young Buck No Where To Be Found

A new G-Unit mixtape is set to drop next Monday (Feb. 4) but one member is noticeably absent from the cover.

The new mixtape, "Return of the Bodysnatchers Vol. 1," will be available for free download via 50 Cent's website, Thisis50.com. But the cover features only 50 and G-Unit soldiers Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. Young Buck is missing in action, offering further explanation as to why Buck is distancing himself from G-Unit and lending credibility to the rumor that he may be thinking about signing with Cash Money after appearing onstage at a Lil' Wayne concert.

In an interview with Phoenix, Ariz. radio station Power 98.3, Buck said it's not the first time he's been snubbed.

"It make me feel like 'what's going on?' when you see a video, everybody's there, and no Buck," he said. "Or you see your man moving overseas on tour with the camp, G-Unit. Or you go to ThisIs50.com and you see G-Unit pictures that's there, without Buck's face. And then there's no communication, so I don't really understand why a lot of things is what it is. I don't have time to figure out why. So I'm just moving on, getting my money, man. With all respect to 50 Cent, 50 Cent put me in the position I'm in right now to give my music to the world." Buck said despite the breakdown in communication, he still rides for G-Unit.

"The communication between me and 50, it just ain't how it used to be," Buck told SOHH exclusively. "But at the end of the day I still remain loyal to G-Unit, and if that call comes for me to work ... I'm still there. But at this point my focus is Cashville Records. I feel like 50's doing what he gotta do, he's more focused on 50, and Buck gotta be more focused on Buck. So I'm just moving, I'm doing what I'm supposed to do."

In addition to his music projects, Buck has his David Brown clothing line and a line of watches jumping off next month.

"50 has always told me .... once you make a name for yourself out here, it's up to you to determine how far you take that name," Buck said. "It's just about Buck getting out here and giving the world me."

G-Unit's second album, Shoot To Kill, was originally scheduled to drop on Dec. 18, 2007. It has since been pushed back with no set release date.
